Emergency?
If you're having a crisis that involves a dangerous situation for you or your loved one, call 9-1-1. This will often trigger responses that may lead to even long term assistance and involve resources you may not have known about.
Be calm and advise the 9-1-1 operator of all details of what's going on. Answer their questions honestly and follow their instructions. If you're on your cell phone and/or not at home, be prepared to and provide the location of the emergency.
